One-to-one after-hours support at home for neurodivergent children. A consistent person follows the child’s routines, sensory needs and way of communicating, so the evening runs the way the child already knows it.
That can include meals, toileting, settling, transitions, play and co-regulation when the day has been too much.

Parents use these hours to work, attend an appointment, or take a planned break, knowing the support is matched to their child rather than a general sit.

The same one-to-one support can run in the community on evenings and weekends.
A familiar person supports the outing at the child’s pace, whether that is the movies, a short walk, a library visit, or a preferred activity.
The focus is safe participation, managing noise and transitions, and staying regulated away from home.

Community hours are billed separately from in-home hours, against the community participation line items in Core.

Neurodivergent children do better with a person who already knows the plan. The same worker learns the early signs, the first-then, the break that works, and the words the child actually uses. That consistency is what keeps evenings and weekends steady, and what stops a hard week becoming a setback.
Support is individual, disability-relat

Support is individual, disability-related, and built around the child. It is not general babysitting.
We have qualifications such as Masters in Teaching, Disability, Education and Care. We also work in the field Monday to Saturday.

This is Core funding, usually from the Core Flexible budget, and only if those hours are already in the plan. In-home support, personal care and routines are claimed under Assistance with Daily Life, registration group 0107. Community outings are claimed under Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation, registration group 0125.
Evening, Saturday, Sunday and public holiday line items apply to the time of the shift. Weekday evening is generally after 6pm. It cannot be claimed as babysitting, and it is not Capacity Building therapy.
Whether a plan can pay for it depends on the child’s goals and the Core budget remaining.
